Biography:

Deanna is pursuing her Bachelor's in Music Degree in Piano Performance, in combination with a Pre-Med degree, at the University of Florida.  She serves as an accompanist for students of various instruments at UF.  Deanna has exceptional experience as a participant and award-winner in many piano competitions.  She has most recently served as Student President of the Florida Federation of Music Clubs in Jacksonville, where she helped organize the Federation state music competitions for elementary through high school students.  Deanna is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota fraternity for women, which places a strong emphasis on music, and gives her the opportunity to help arrange performers for non-profit and charitable organizations.

Deanna has taught private piano lessons to children as young as four years old and greatly enjoys working with kids.  A parent of a former kindergarten-age student has said, "Deanna was very effective with that age group; she was patient and timed the lessons to maximize my daughter's attention span.  She understood the best way to begin introducing the concepts to her and break them down.  We had a great experience and would highly recommend her."  The Kaley School is delighted to offer Deanna's instruction in Piano Levels 1-2.
